Vice Chair Introductions

 Here are two introductions from our vice chairs Steve and Matariya! 

Hello delegates!

My name is Matariya Rattanapan, and I will be your CSTD Vice Chair this year! I am currently a first-year student at UC Berkeley studying Cognitive Science. This will be my 5th year in MUN, and I am beyond excited to be discussing these prominent issues.

Aside from MUN, I am heavily passionate about the intersection of medicine and the endless spectrum of human intelligence and cognition. I am currently virtually shadowing physicians during these turbulent times and on course in becoming a certified medical scribe. 

During my free time, I love to binge watch Netflix shows such as Criminal Minds and Grey’s Anatomy. Additionally, I am a traveling fanatic and love exploring new and exotic places around the world. I also love trying new food places wherever I go.

My name is Steve Cao and I am a fourth year student at UC Berkeley studying Computer Science, Data Science, and IEOR. 

This is my second year doing MUN and I am passionate about both topics and their rapidly increasing relevance in our lives.

In my free time, I enjoy playing/watching a variety of sports, weightlifting, reading, and playing chess. I look forward to meeting you (virtually) and hearing your great ideas!
